To kick off this swimming pool project we sent our estimator, Bill, to the homeowner's property to take measurements and determine an accurate cost of installing this semi-in-ground swimming pool. Bill marked out the area where the pool would rest, giving this client a helpful visual aid.
Breaking Ground & Making Waves
Once the necessary permits had been obtained, our team was ready to dive into this project. They excavated the area ensuring they had a level, smooth surface to work with. Then, they double checked their supplies before installing the base of the pool and its buttresses.
Building the Backdone
The team assembled the pool wall and expertly installed the main drain, creating a strong foundation for a safe and efficient swimming experience. With precision, they leveled the pool bottom before moving on to the installation of the stairs, ensuring a seamless transition to the next phase of the project.
A Smooth Start
Once the steps were completed, the team added a layer of sand to the bottom of the swimming pool. This sand serves as an essential cushion, providing extra protection against anything that could potentially puncture the pool's liner. With precision and attention to detail, the team carefully spread and leveled the sand to create a perfectly smooth foundation for the next phase of installation.
Bringing the Pool to Life
The team installed a light blue liner, instantly transforming the pool with an inviting and vibrant look. Careful attention was given to ensure a smooth, wrinkle-free finish, especially along the bottom and in the corners. Once perfectly positioned, they began slowly filling the pool with water, allowing the liner to stretch and conform seamlessly to the pool's shape for a flawless finish.
Plumbing for Perfection
Working into the night, the team carefully laid the plumbing for the hard piping and filtration system of this semi-in-ground pool. Hard piping is a durable, long-term solution that provides superior water flow, increased efficiency, and reduced risk of leaks compared to traditional flexible hoses. By taking the time to properly secure and position each pipe, the team ensured that this pool's circulation system would operate at peak performance for years to come. A well-installed hard piping system means easier maintenance, and fewer repairs.
Bonded Forever
The team filled in the area around the swimming pool, covering the expertly installed hard piping beneath the soil. Next, they laid bonding wire around the entire perimeter of the pool. Bonding a swimming pool is essential because it prevents potentially harmful electrical currents from affecting people and pets. After completing the bonding process, our team completely covered the wire with soil, finishing the pool installation project. We are so excited to see what the pool will look like come springtime!
