Preparing the Pool for Winter
The first order of business when it comes to closing a swimming pool is cleaning the pool. When our team arrived they got to work blowing out the lines, an important task to prevent any water from freezing inside the pipes during the colder months. They also added winterizing chemicals, which will keep the pool water clear and fresh for the next season. After carefully disconnecting the filtration system and accessories, they were stored in a safe location for the client's convenience.
Securing the Winter Cover
Once the pool was prepped, it was time to install the winter cover. Since the pool has a deck on one side, we had to take special care to secure the cover tightly around the area where the deck meets the pool. We used extra clips and straps to ensure the cover would stay firmly in place through heavy winds and winter weather.
Final Steps: Ensuring the Pool is Winter-Ready
The final task was double-checking all the secured equipment and accessories. The client, having been impressed with our work for years, requested we return for next year's pool opening. With the cover in place and the pool safely tucked away for winter, our team left the property knowing the job was done to perfection.
