Excavation
As with any swimming pool installation, the first step in the process is excavation. This pool was going to be sunk 23" into the ground, so our team had to do a little more excavation than usual. Then they leveled the ground to prepare an even surface for the base track of the pool.
Base Track
The team built the base track for the pool taking great care to ensure everything was level and properly installed so the pool would have a solid foundation for years of splashing and fun in the sun. They also added a barrier between the ground and the sand to protect against rocks, roots or animals from damaging the liner.
Liner Installation
The team laid sand above the protective barrier before beginning the liner installation. They installed the liner meticulously smoothing out any creases or wrinkles that may have formed during the installation process.
Filling the Pool
They began slowly filling the pool with water to ensure the liner had time to stretch and conform to the shape of the pool, before installing the caps and ledges for the swimming pool. It was time to complete the pool electric!
Skimmer & Filter Installation
After the pool had filled almost to the top, our team installed the pool's skimmer and filtration system, then laid the bonding wire for the pool. Bonding a pool ensures it is safe and swimmable by protecting against the transmission of harmful electrical voltage to people, or pets.
Hard Piping & Electric
In order to complete the bonding, our team dug deep trenches around the pool connecting to the filtration system. They installed the swimming pool's plumbing and electrical work. All electrical work completed by Y.E.S. Contractors is completed in compliance with NEC code and includes a timer, bonding grid, water bond, and convenience outlet.
Backfill and Complete!
After the bonding and electrical work had been completed, our team backfilled the trenches. This pool project was complete and ready to be adored for years to come! Another job well done by our amazing teams at Y.E.S. Contractors.
