Tear It Down
When our team arrive to the site they knew they had a big job ahead of them. The structure and deck surrounding this clients pool had formed excessive rust and was unsafe for use. Our team got right to work taking apart the existing pool and deck piece by piece.
A Solid Base
Once the existing swimming pool and surrounding deck had been taken down, our team worked diligently to level the ground and build the new pool. They added concrete footings to provide a strong and stable surface for the replacement swimming pool and replacement deck.
Coming Along
The team built the steps, and sun-deck then had to dig a 6' deep end by hand. When that was complete they laid sand in the pool. Sand adds cusion and acts as a barrier between the ground and the swimming pool liner, protecting the liner from any roots, rocks, or debris that could potentially puncture it.
Shaping Up
The team finished shaping and tamping the shallow end and hopper (deep end) of the pool. They installed the main drain as well as the tracks for the sundeck and steps, then added the stone for the sundeck and steps.
Vermiculite and Bonding
This pool got a coating of vermiculite troweled across the pool floor to create a firm but crack resistant base under the liner. Once that was complete they dug trenches around the pool, then laid the plumbing lines and bonding wire for the swimming pool.
Deck Complete
Once the deck installation was completed the team prepped the pool for the liner installation by checking the walls and bottom of the pool for anything that could potentially puncturew the liner.
