A Big Job
When our estimators came out they noticed this was going to be a bigger job than expected. The client's existing pool electric was no longer to code so the team would need to update the electrical as well as completing the liner change.
Prepping For An Upgrade
To begin, our team had to fully drain the swimming pool, then remove the existing coping from the pool so they could install new aluminum coping. When the existing coping and liner were fully removed the team cleaned the surface of the pool wall to prepare the swimming pool for its new liner!
Water Damage, Oh No!
Upon the removal of the existing liner our team noticed another repair. The vermiculite at the bottom of the deep end was cracked from water damage! The team removed the existing vermiculite and added new before moving on to their next step.
Bonding Baby
The team installed the bonding lugs for the swimming pool and bonding wire. Bonding your pool prevents the transmission of harmful electrical voltage to people, pool equipment, and pets, and is a crucial part of the pool building process.
Laying the Liner
They installed the new aluminum coping, and bead receiver track then began the installation of the physical liner. Our amazing team took great care to ensure all seams were positioned 90 degrees and that all cuts were made away from the waters edge.
Don't Forget the Skimmer!
Our team installed new ladder cups on the ladder and handrails, then pressure tested the lines starting with the skimmer, then return, then main drain, and jets to ensure everything was running smoothly. They finished off this project by installing a new widemouth skimmer! This swimming pool is looking brand new thanks to the amazing teams at Y.E.S. Contractors!
