Above Ground Pool Installation, Helmetta NJ

Challenge

Harold G in Helmetta NJ contacted YES Contractors to install his 15x30 above-ground pool. He wanted the pool sunk 21” into the ground which was no problem for our pro installers!

Solution

Harold hired our team to complete every step of the process from submitting permits to installation and electric. Once the permits were in it was time to get started. The team began with excavation and leveled the ground beneath the pool. They built the base track for the pool, laid 3.75 tons of sand and installed the pool wall. Sand acts as a barrier between the ground and the pool’s liner protecting the liner from anything that could puncture it, while also adding cushion to the bottom of the pool. Our team installed the liner as well as all the caps and ledges for the pool. They slowly filled the pool with water to avoid causing any creases or wrinkles in the bottom of the pool. 

After giving the liner time to conform to the pool, our team made a return trip to install the filtration system and skimmer. Harold chose a Blue Torrent cartridge filter for his pool. We completed all the necessary electrical work for the pool and filtration system, then began the trench and bonding process. Bonding your pool is very important. It ensures no harmful electrical voltage is transmitted to any pool equipment, people, or pets. After completing the trench and bond process, our team back-filled the trenches they had dug around the pool and finished off the look with our signature landscape package.
