Above Ground Pool Opening/Closing
Challenge
This client in Sayreville contacted YES Contractors because he was tired of having green water every time he opened his pool.
Solution
When our team came out to the property it was clear the client had not been properly winterizing his pool. The pool cover was old and damaged which was one of the reasons his pool kept turning green. There were tiny holes which allowed rain water and other debris to seep into the pool throughout winter. Our team explained this to the client, and advised him to order a new cover before closing the pool for the fall. When we returned to close the pool the client already had the new cover ready. Our team performed all the necessary steps to close the pool. They plugged the skimmer and return, disconnected all hoses from the filter equipment and cleaned the filter media. When they returned to open the pool the following spring the water was sparkling and crystal clear! This client was so happy, he could finally swim at the beginning of summer instead of having to wait for his pool water to become clear.
